This is a local demonstration of the Waterproofed website and customer workspace. Use fictional information when exploring it.

What the demo stores

Contact details, property addresses, appointment requests, notes, uploaded files, documents, decisions and simulated payment records are saved in a SQLite database on this PC. Administrator sessions use an essential, HTTP-only cookie that expires after 12 hours. Customer links expire after 30 days and can be revoked by the administrator.

Who can access it

The administrator can access all cases. Inspectors can access assigned cases. A customer link provides access to its case and published documents, excluding internal notes and unpublished files. Keep that link private.

Payments and messages

Demo payments do not charge money. Email and SMS are recorded in the local outbox and are not delivered. Advertising tags have been disabled in this local version.

Before public use

The business must confirm its legal identity, privacy contact, retention periods, cancellation terms and processor agreements before using this system with real customer data. This page describes the local demo and is not a completed production privacy policy.
